General

We recommend that you store your soaps and skin care products in a cool, dry place away from direct light, heat sources, excess moisture and out of reach of small children or animals. Always replace the cap or lid on a skin care product to maintain it's shelf life. It's always best to use clean, dry hands when dipping into the products or better yet use one of the wooden spatulas and scoops available for purchase.

Most of our skin care products should be trialled for at least 4-6 weeks to allow your body sufficient time to adapt to the new ingredients. A better result will be more noticeable after 8-10 weeks of use.

Groups are always welcome at Vasse Virgin, however prior notice is appreciated so we can have adequate staffing in place to ensure that you and your guests receive the ultimate olive oil experience. There is no fee to visit either of our stores and all testing or tasting of our products are complementary. Please note that viewing of our manufacturing process by the Production teams is only possible at our Soap Factories in Wilyabrup WA and Seppeltsfield SA.

Unfortunately no. We craft all of our olive oil soaps using an age-old traditional method of cold-process soap making which takes several weeks before our soaps are ready to go to new homes. Instead, we host a number of fun day classes and workshops where you can try your hand at creating other natural products with help from our expert team.

Don't worry, our friendly Customer Service team is here to answer all of your questions, simply phone us on +61 8 97556111 between 10am - 5pm (WST+) daily or contact us by email and we'll do our best to assist you.

Products & Ingredients

Yes, and we take pride in sourcing some of the finest natural ingredients from around the world including pure essential oils and 100% natural plant extracts. To ensure we create a high quality product every time, we choose not to intervene with nature or alter our natural ingredients in any way. In doing so it does mean that seasonal climate and crop changes can leave our end products sometimes varying slightly in colour, aroma or texture. That being said, it's as nature intended.

No. Vasse Virgin is committed to reducing the carbon footprint in the production of our products and our everyday operations. Creating a sustainable business is an ongoing journey, which is why we’ve always been Orangutan friendly.

No. We recognised long ago the dangers that artificial ingredients can have, not only on the skin but also on our planet, therefore we’ve always made our products using only natural exfoliators and of course plenty of care.

No absolutely not, we have always been very passionate about offering skin care products that have as minimal an impact on the environment as possible therefore we have always been against animal testing and do not use tallow either.

Most of our gourmet food range is vegetarian, with the exception of our olive tapenade as this contains anchovies. Some of our soaps and skin care products contain beeswax, goat’s milk, or honey. For assistance or for a list of our vegetarian or vegan friendly products, please contact our Customer Service team at soapfactory@vassevirgin.com.au who will be happy to assist you to select a product that’s right for you.

Yes, all of our soaps and skin care products are made on site at our Soap Factories in Wilyabrup WA and Seppeltsifled SA, whilst our gourmet food range is prepared by our very own Chef in a commercial kitchen. We're pretty passionate about supporting our local economy and take great care to source our ingredients and packaging materials from local suppliers first, then elsewhere in Australia.
