Natural Perfume - Lylli

A wonderful surprise to find this unexpected perfume at the beautiful Seppeltsfield winery in Barossa last week. On a balmy 38 degree day, an avenue of date palms on approach to the sprawling estate brings to mind the lush pockets of oasis found in the desert and the spectacular Seppelt family mausoleum could be straight from a trip to the Egyptian temples of the Nile. The exquisite lunch at Fino (not expensive for the exquisite tasting creations that arrive in front of you). Followed by a walk around the grounds, the gallery and finally a stop at Vasse Virgin, by way of the winery where young guys & gals were sweating it out moving containers of freshly picked grapes, hands stained crimson from the fruit. To complement the exotic oasis vibe, I discovered this gorgeous perfume which brings to mind the brilliant L'air du desert Marocain perfume by Andy Tauer and the now discontinued D'Iparie by L'Occitane. A fabulous find and a truly niche smelling perfume. All natural ingredients of the highest quality according to the delightful ladies in the Vasse Virgin shop. Oh, and grab a couple of handmade olive oil soap bars which shouldn't be missed if you prefer soap to shower gel as I do. Seppeltsfield was a day in a faraway land in another era. Tales of the Arabian Nights right there in the beautiful Barossa. I can't wait to go back.

I first tried this perfume a year ago in the beautiful shop in Margaret river, and absolutely loved it! It’s now become my “signature” scent, and I get compliments on it every time I wear it. I love that it smells like a bespoke scent, and unlike anything else I’ve ever bought.

I tried it and bought it when my husband and I were on a holiday down south with our 2 wonderful sons and their beautiful wives.

As we all know scent can transport you back to the place you were when you first smelt it.

Every time I wear this glorious scent I'm transported back to Margaret River with my wonderful sons and beautiful daughters in law. 💙💗💙💗
