Ingredients:
- 1/2 kilo Chicken, minced
- 1 small Onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 Lemon, juiced
- 2 cups Flour
- 2-3 Eggs
- Vasse Virgin Spicy Dukkah
- Vasse Virgin Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Seasoning: salt, pepper, sumac, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric (1 tsp each)
- Tomatoes and avocados, sliced (optional)
- Pita bread to serve (optional)
Method:
Pour the flour into a dish and set aside. Pour the dukkah into a separate bowl and set aside. Crack the eggs into another bowl and lightly beat. Shape the chicken into small pieces and skewer. Roll each piece in the flour and then dip first into the eggs and then into the dukkah to coat. Broil or fry the chicken pieces in the olive oil for 6 minutes, front and back, or remove when they feel firm and toasted. Serve in pita bread with the sliced tomatoes and avocado and a garlic yoghurt. Enjoy!
