Sicilian Chicken


  • 2 large Chicken Breasts, skin removed
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Cheddar Cheese, sliced
  • Fresh Portobello Mushrooms, sliced
  • Vasse Virgin Sicilian Pasta Sauce
  • Vasse Virgin Extra Virgin Olive Oil



Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Pour a small amount of olive oil into the base of an oven-proof dish, then slice a couple of fresh garlic cloves and layer evenly over the bottom of the dish. Cut the chicken into serving sizes and place on top of the garlic. Pour the Sicilian Sauce over the chicken and cover with the sliced Portobello mushrooms. Put the dish into the oven for approximately 25 minutes, then take the dish out, layer the sliced cheese over the top and put back into the oven until the cheese has melted. Enjoy!
